LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN BY EVERYONE 17 YEARS OF AGE AND YOUNGER, REGARDLESS OF SWIMMING ABILITY. NOVICE AND WEAK SWIMMERS MUST WEAR A LIFE JACKET. THOSE ABOVE 18 YEARS OF MUST AT LEAST HAVE A LIFE JACKET ON BOARD IF RENTING A KAYAK. PROCEEDURE TO RENT A CANOE OR KAYAK: -Make a reservation and indicate which trip you would like to take at least 3 days in advance; Delaware River or D&R Canal (for more rental details and pricing, check out the "OPTION" links below) - required -Call us at 908-996-5386 to verify your reservation - required -Print out your reservation and make sure to bring it with you on the date of your trip - required. -Have all waivers completed prior to arrival for each attending member. Download and print them here - required (Under 18 years old must have an adult guardian's signature) TRIP OPTIONS: There are two trips offered for canoes and kayaks available. Canoes and Kayaks are available for rental on the Delaware River and Raritan Canal. The river rental includes a FREE BBQ meal at The Famous River Hot Dog Man and is 6 miles long. The canal rental is cheaper than the river rental, however a free BBQ meal is not included. For more info, check out the links below to learn more.
